Shared agri-food workshops are agri-food processing facilities serving different processors.
There are two types:
- Workshops where users have access to the facilities and are responsible for making their own products.
- Workshops with staff to carry out the processing, provided they meet the following conditions:
– Their main objective is to facilitate the production of processed products for local agricultural producers.
– The entire processed product is returned to the producers, who are responsible for marketing it.
– They are not run by a private for-profit entity.
– The shared workshop activity is the main function of the facilities.
The network’s objectives :
– To raise awareness of existing shared bakeries.
– Highlight their potential to contribute to rural development and the transformation of the agri-food system.
– To create a network and meeting places for entities running shared bakeries.
– Offer training and advice to micro-enterprises that produce products.
– To promote and facilitate the creation of new shared bakeries.
