It finishes the fundraising for the six proposals of the Alt Pirineu and Aran and now beguins the implementation phase of the projects.
The second edition of Matchfunding Arrela’t Alt Pirineu and Aran has been finalised, where all projects have achieved the minimum funding and therefore the initiatives presented can be consolidated. Selected projects, one of all the counties of Alt Pirineu and Aran, have totalled 102,484 € of which 78,484 € has been contributed by the citizens and 24,000€ by the administrations. This exceeded the funds of the first edition of Matchfunding Arrela’t that was 73.439 €.
This fact demonstrates the consolidation of the initiative and the value that alternative financing formulas such as Matchfunding can bring, where up to 818 co-financers invest in social initiatives with return to the territory in Alt Pirineu and Aran. Furthermore, in this case, the institutions complement the collaboration of the citizens by providing one euro for each euro raised up to a maximum of 24,000 €.
Once the fundraising phase has ended, the project implementation phase is now beginning and they have one year to make their project a reality. In addition, the people who have participated in their cofinancing will now start to receive the rewards proposed for each initiative.
